Comments: Megadeth and Exodus at the Commodore
wow
all this time i thought he couldn't play guitar because of carpet tunnel syndrome
you learn something new everyday...
reminds me of a guy i knew... he was a junkie like 15 years ago and passed out for 3 days... all the blood in his body started to settle in the part of his body he was lying on ... he almost had to have his arm and leg cut off...but he survived and continued to use... it wasn't till about a year later he cleaned him self up and last time i talked to him he was vegan and had a nice girlfriend and i'm not sure if they were his kids or not...but they had a little family thing going on.... last i heard he was in rehab.... but you know how word of mouth can be especially when it's travelling across the country... scary stuff though... and then there's sunny... always talking about dave attending his meetings at AA... how's the skiing in the GVA?

Yeah, I had first heard it was collapsed viens from too many needles, then I heard that it was a skateboard accident that shattered his arm, but finally I read an article that Dave himself wrote about the whole ordeal, the physiotherapy he had to go through, retraining his muscles to play guitar - a lot of work for that stupid habit, eh?
As for skiing, Whistler only opened last week, and we only finally got our first snowfall here yesterday, so it's still a little early to be on the slopes. I suspect I won't be getting out 'till Janauary - lots of stuff booked up between now ant then - ONE more Scarecow Balcony show this year... we've stopped booking, gonna take the last half of December off so that we can all take a bit of a vacation.
