and about the GK...i got a new ampeg...igot a 410 for 775...i'm going to get a couple more...
my buddy runs a GK with an ampeg 410 and it rocks..775 seems to be the going rate for an ampeg 410 cab... give or take 100... just thought you might want to think about it...

Ah yes, St. Patty's Day - well, I've been waiting half a year for green beer (the other half a year I'm waiting for Oktoberfest) - and if I have surgery on the 15th, there's maybe a 20% chance that I'll be able to make it to the Irish pub at the bottom of the hill for a pint of green beer... but, as luck (luck???) would have it, I got called by the Dr. yesterday, and told that my surgery has been bumped to April 5th. Another three weeks! There's still a very slight chance though, that someone who's surgery is supposed to be on Monday, March 14th won't be able to make that date, so the Dr. will call me back today to let me know if I can have the spot a day early. If I have to wait until April, I'll be drinking green beer for sure. If I get in on the 14th, the chance of me drinking green beer goes up to maybe 25%.

Why does it not surprise me that your "compassionate side" has led you in this direction?? This is a wonderful and very unselfish act by committing to sponsor little Stella, and it is amazing how such a small monthly amount can make such a huge difference in a child's life. It will be so much appreciatd on the other side of the world, and you will surely be blessed for your part in this. Way to go!! Do keep us updated once you receive more information, photos, progress, etc. There is always need and room for compassion in this crazy world.
