did you ever see the original italian job with michael cain in it? coz THAT was frikkin' brilliant... you gotta wonder why hollywood is having such a hard time coming up with original movie concepts... look at all the remakes in the last few years.. and all the movies that were once 1/2 assed 70's shows...

Now THAT I can get in to... I've been saying that for years now... with some very RARE exceptions, which all turn out to be incredible new film concepts (Matrix, Fight Club, Being John Malcovich, Minority Report, What Dreams May Come,etc) every damn blockbuster of the last half decade has either been a remake (Oceans-11, Italian Job, Time Machine, LOTR, Texas Chainsaw Masacre, etc) or a comic book (X-Men, Spiderman, Daredevil, Spawn, Barb Wire, Tank Girl, Hulk, Batman, etc,etc,etc) or a 70's TV show... (Charlies Angels, Battlestar Galactica...coming soon..., Shaft, oh - and now George Clooney is going to play Thomas Magnum in the new Magnum P.I. movie)
What up wit dat?
