Gettin' hot again! Just when you start to think summer's winding to a close, she comes back with a nice day like today - no more cool chill in the air today! A nice way to start the work week too.
I spent my afternoon out in the back yard and really didn't feel like cooking (again...) so I took Carole out to Tony Romas, yeah I know, we haven't exactly been frequenting classy joints of late, but I wanted to go somewhere I could wear shorts...
I had a big Ribs Sampler plate (Tony Romas IS the place for ribs, after all) and Carole had some shrimp skewers. Four different kinds of ribs ... yum... I had such a hankerin' for ribs too. Carole just doesn't "get" the whole ribs thing, she doesn't know why someone would prefer to suck meat off a bone when they could just have a nice juicy steak and keep their fingers clean. I guess it's a "guy thing"... how do you explain the joy of a big rack of ribs to a girl? No idea...
