Temp: 25 degrees
The radio said it would get to 27 today, but I didn't clock it that high... in fact, the highest I saw it was 24 today, but it DID keep rising into the afternoon, so who knows - maybe it hit 27 - to play it safe though, I'll say it was 25.
I did my watering and some of my exercises out in the sun, then played more online poker. The night was kinda of a writeoff actually... someone Carole knows may or not be the victim of a serious scam, so I spent most of the night researching the particulars of what we know of their involvement. There are so many ways to part a sucker from their money... I sure hope this person isn't in too deep, 'cause this particular scam has taken some people for hundreds of thousands - at least so the internet says...
Well, we're steering clear of the situation - but it helps to be informed, so as depressing as it was, I did my research.
Tomorrow after work, we leave for the Island, where we'll be spending the weekend with Carole's mom, and Brian - TOTALLY looking forward to kicking back and relaxing, maybe doing a little geocaching ... if you're reading this Lynne, have some cold beer ready!
